IICL Elects 2024 Officers

Washington, DC — IICL President, Dennis Lombardi, announced that Daniel Walsh, President and Chief Executive Officer of TRAC Intermodal, has been elected to the position of Chairman of the IICL for 2024, succeeding Olivier Ghesquiere, President and Chief Executive Officer, Textainer Group Holding Limited. 

The IICL’s Board also elected, as IICL First Vice President; Katherine McCabe, President and CEO of CAI International, Inc. as IICL Second Vice President; Jeremy Matthew, Chief Executive Officer, Seaco Global, as IICL Treasurer; Than Seeds, President and COO of FlexiVan. The past Chairman, Olivier Ghesquiere, President and Chief Executive Officer, Textainer Group Holding Limited, also agreed to continue working with the IICL Executive Committee for another year.  

“On behalf of the IICL’s Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank Mr. Ghesquiere for his leadership as Chairman during another transitional and challenging year for IICL members” said Lombardi, “and we look forward to 2024 under Mr. Walsh’s Chairmanship.”  

“We expect 2024 to continue to challenge our members to keep pace with evolving needs of the transportation industry.  The IICL is well positioned to support our industries whatever we confront in 2024,” said Mr. Walsh.

Mr. Walsh was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of TRAC Intermodal in August of 2020.  Prior to joining TRAC, Mr. Walsh held a series of executive management positions at leading international supply chain logistics providers – XPO Logistics and Brambles Limited; where he spent more than two decades in global leadership roles.

Mr. Walsh completed the Senior Executive Program at London Business School and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, together with a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the Australian National University.

Organized in 1971, the IICL is a trade association, representing lessors of maritime containers and intermodal chassis.
