As one of the leaders in the container and refrigerated leasing industry, we are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment by developing and applying new technologies to assist in reducing CO2 emissions. SeaCube has adopted a continuous sustainability strategy to offer the most efficient, sustainable, and eco-friendly leasing solutions. We have several sustainable and ESG initiatives currently underway.
We are collaborating with our suppliers with an aim at developing the most efficient refrigerated machinery and will be on the front line to test new technologies and incorporate them to our fleet. We are also focused on reducing Green House Gases (GHG) and CO2 emissions in the manufacturing process, based on asset design and specifications.
While technology is and will be the underpinning of SeaCube’s ESG and decarbonization product development strategy, our initiatives include container and machinery recycling, reefer machinery refurbishing, and extended asset lifecycle programs to maximize fleet utilization. Collaborative repurposing and recycling programs introduce alternatives to new asset production.
SeaCube continues to be involved in sustainable workshops and programs to be on the leading edge of eco-friendly and proactive practices to reduce GHG and CO2 emissions.
